One of the rock world’s most celebrated guitarists will spend most of next spring on the road following the release of tickets for a Jeff Beck solo tour which concludes just days before his co-headlining trek with ZZ Top.

The 70-year-old will first take to the stage with his own band (vocalist Jimmy Hall, guitarist Nicolas Meier, bassist Rhonda Smith and drummer Jonathan Joseph) for a nine-date run which begins with two consecutive nights at Huntington’s The Paramount on April 16/17 – tickets for which are available on TicketIQ at a get-in price of $139.

Following performances at the likes of Boston’s Orpheum Theatre on Apr 19 ($240) and Englewood’s Bergen Performing Arts Center on Apr 22 ($370), the two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee will wrap up his solo tour at Greensburg’s Palace Theatre on Apr 26.

But just four days later, Beck will return to the live fold to kick off his rescheduled joint tour with blues-rock legends ZZ Top. The two acts were forced to cancel over two dozen shows last September when Dusty Hill injured his hip. But after making a full recovery, the bassist and the rest of his touring buddies will once again share the stage for an Apr 30 gig at Texas’ Cedar Park Center.

Fans can also get their hands on ZZ Top and Jeff Beck tickets for six further dates on TicketIQ including Thackerville’s Winstar Casino on May 1 ($107), West Palm Beach’s Cruzan Amphitheatre on May 8 ($23) and the finale at Alpharetta’s Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park on May 10 ($65).

Recorded in front of fans with Jeff Beck tickets at Tokyo’s Dome City Hall, the seven-time Grammy winner’s new live DVD also hit the shelves this week, and features brand new songs “Loaded” and “Why Give It Away,” as well as cover versions of Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing,” Muddy Waters’ “Rollin’ & Tumblin’’” and Billy Cobham’s “Stratus.”
