Nicki Minaj Announces The Pinkprint European Tour
December 9, 2014
Currently gearing up for the release of her third album, The Pinkprint, Nicki Minaj has now announced dates for a European tour of the same name which she claims will be her biggest and best yet.
The 32-year-old, whose follow-up to Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, will hit stores on December 15, will first take to the stage at Stockholm’s The Globe on March 16 next year before moving onto Oslo, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Brussels, Oberhausen and Paris.
Supported by R&B star Trey Songz, Minaj will then visit London’s O2 Arena for the first of ten UK & Ireland dates, taking in Dublin, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Leeds and Newcastle before wrapping up at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on April 12 – the same venue that she recently hosted the MTV European Music Awards at.
Minaj, who received two Grammy nominations earlier this week for Best Rap Song (“Anaconda”) and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Bang Bang”), will no doubt be keen to showcase all the highlights from her latest studio effort. But fans with tickets should also look forward to hearing her earlier massive pop hits (“Super Bass,” “Starships,” “Pound The Alarm”) and urban anthems (“Beez In The Trap,” “Moment 4 Life,” “Did It On ‘Em,”) as well as the odd surprise cover version.
Nicki Minaj tickets for The Pinkprint Tour will go on sale later this week, with the star also expected to add a North American leg in the near future. So be sure to keep checking back on TicketIQ for the latest information on what promises to be 2015’s most colourful hip-hop tour.
