The Philadelphia Flyers looked like a team that could be kaput by January, but heading to the end of December, they have gotten to .500. November was disastrous for the team and when it appeared to show a glimmer of hope, winning two in a row over the Devils and Hurricanes, the Flyers squandered their next game to the Lightning. With that loss, the Flyers also communicated to fans that the team isn’t cut out to win games against top teams.

The problem isn’t goaltending; Steve Mason has only allowed four or more goals twice since November, and has given the team an opportunity to win on multiple occasions.

The Flyers are a mess on special teams. The team has the league’s second worst penalty kill, which often costs it late in games. In fact, the Flyers have lost an extraordinary amount of games by one goal -- four already this month. It also doesn’t help that the Flyers have essentially one scoring line. While everyone gawks at Jakub Voracek’s insane production, the team’s other three lines have been anemic.

The Flyers of course don’t want to give up. They’ll hope to build off a wins this month and close losses to top teams as they try to regain their footing at the top of the Metropolitan Division. Below are the Flyers’ most expensive home games for the rest of the 2014-2015 NHL campaign.

2/28 vs New York Rangers | Average Price: $233.04 | Get-in: $63

The Rangers are hot while the Flyers are ice cold. In New York, Rick Nash has a 10-game point streak and Henrik Lundqvist is putting a muddy November behind him. This is the Flyers’ most expensive home game in 2015. The minimum you can pay to get in is $63.

4/5 vs Pittsburgh Penguins | Average Price: $201.58 | Get-in: $59

A mumps outbreak won’t stop the Pens. Tickets to this in-state rivalry game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Flyers are $201.58 on average on the secondary, according to ticket data from TicketIQ. The minimum you can pay to get in is $59.

3/14 vs Detroit Red Wings | Average Price: $175.94 | Get-in: $43

The get-in price is an affordable $43.

2/21 vs Nashville Predators | Average Price: $175.56 | Get-in: $42

The Predators are the league’s preeminent defensive power this year. The team has allowed the fewest goals in the league (only 58 through 30 games) and has the best team save percentage on the road. Tickets on the secondary market to the Predators-Flyers are $175.56 on average, according to TicketIQ. The get-in price for this non-conference matchup is $42.

2/22 vs Washington Capitals | Average Price: $171.63 | Get-in: $37
