Top 5 Metal Concerts Of The Week (12/1)

This week’s top metal and rock shows include some older and seminal rockers and some newer popular bands. Industrial rock band Skinny Puppy who made their fame in the 80s are playing on the 2nd at the Best Buy Theater while other 80’s icons Heart and Joe Walsh also are playing shows this week. On the 5th Opeth and In Flames are headlining a big show with Red Fang at the Sokol Auditorium in Omaha while deathcore band Emmure will be at the Soma in San Diego on the 6th with the Acacia Strain.
12/2 - Skinny Puppy at Best Buy Theater - Limited Tickets Available
Canadian industrial rock pioneers Skinny Puppy will play the Best Buy Theater this week on the 2nd. The band released their twelfth full-length record Weapon last year. Fans should expect the hear a mix of new songs and older favorites. Skinny Puppy will also play the Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia on the 3rd, Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida on the 5th, and the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia on the 6th.
12/6 - Emmure at the Soma - Limited Tickets Available
Deathcore band Emmure will be at the Soma in San Diego, California on the 6th. The band released Eternal Enemies earlier this year. That was the last album to feature drummer Mark Castillo who left the band earlier in the year. Emmure now tours with drummer Adam Pierce who played in All Shall Perish. The band is on tour with fellow deathcore band The Acacia Strain and will be at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California on the 5th.
12/5 - Opeth, In Flames, and Red Fang at the Sokol Auditorium - Limited Tickets Available
Metal acts Opeth and In Flames are playing the Sokol Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska on the 5th. Opeth released Pale Communion this year while In Flames put out Siren Charms. The two bands will also play Mill City Nights in Minneapolis, Minnesota on the 4th and the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado on the 6th. Portland based metal band Red Fang is opening on the tour.
12/4 - Joe Walsh at the Paramount Theatre - Avg. Price $148.46 Get-in $74
Joe Walsh will be at the Paramount Theatre in Huntington, New York this week on the 4th. The rock star hasn’t released a new album since 2012’s Analog Man but the former member of the Eagles released a live album last year and appeared on the Foo Fighters new album. The average ticket price for this show is set at $148.46 but fans will be able to find tickets for as low as $74.
12/7 - Heart at the House of Blues Las Vegas - Avg. Price $123 Get-in $77
On the 7th hard rock band Heart will play at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band led by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson put out their last record Fanatic in 2012, fans in Vegas should expect to hear hits like “Barracuda” and “Magic Man”. The average ticket price for this show is $123 while the lowest get in price is $77, not bad for a Las Vegas show.
