Atlanta Hawks Tickets Up 28% During 17-Game Winning Streak

The Atlanta Hawks have been playing tremendous basketball over the past month as they have yet to lose over their past 17 games. The 17-game win streak is the longest winning streak in the franchise’s history. The Hawks are actually 31-2 in their last 33 games as the team’s starting five has been giving many teams in the NBA fits with their ability to pass, score and play defense. During this winning streak, Hawks tickets have been in higher demand and have jumped 14% since the start of November, now at an average price of $161.52 on the secondary market.
On TicketIQ, Atlanta Hawks tickets had an average price $125.47 on the secondary market before the streak occurred, 31.6% below the current home average for the Hawks which is $183.64. However, since November Hawks tickets have jumped 14% on the secondary market, and ticket demand continues to increase as the Hawks continue to rack up wins. During this 17 game win streak, Hawks tickets have a secondary average price of $161.10, a 28.4% increase compared the Hawks home average before their streak began in late December.

For the remaining home games for the Hawks at the Philips Arena, the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will be the most expensive games. Tickets for the Hawks’ February 6 meeting with the Warriors have an average price of $337.31 on the secondary market, an 83.7% premium compared to the Hawks’ home average of future games. The get-in price for this matchup is $74.
Hawks tickets will have an even bigger premium when LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers visit Atlanta. Hawks vs Cavs tickets for this March 6 meeting have a current average price of $420.63 on the secondary market. This is the only game on the Hawks remaining home schedule that has tickets at an average asking price of over $400. The premium is a 129% increase compared the Hawks’ home average, with the least expensive ticket to get into this game priced at $89.
The least expensive game on the remaining Hawks home schedule is a February 4 meeting with the Washington Wizards. Hawks tickets against the Wizards have a current average price of $109.39 on the secondary market, 40.4% below the Hawks home average of future games. The get-in price for next week’s game against the Wizards is $14.
