Fans wanting to get their hands on tickets to see The Black Eyed Peas might not have to wait much longer after will.i.am revealed that the group plan to celebrate their 20th anniversary with a ‘bunch of new experiences.’

The 39-year-old, who will return to UK screens this weekend for his fourth series as a judge on The Voice, told the Metro newspaper that the quartet are currently in the studio working on new material and are hoping to hit the road together soon for the first time in four years.

The six-time Grammy winners started their career back in 1995 as an alternative hip-hop trio, but after adding lead vocalist Fergie to their line-up in 2003, went onto enjoy chart-topping success as a hugely commercial urban-pop act, shifting an impressive 76 million records worldwide.

The Black Eyed Peas tickets last went on sale back in 2011 for The Beginning World Tour, an 18-date trek which visited Europe, Asia and North and South America, and featured a number of high-profile support acts including superstar DJ David Guetta, UK rapper Tinie Tempah and electro-pop duo LMFAO.

An official announcement of the group’s forthcoming schedule is expected to be confirmed in the near future, and those who snap up The Black Eyed Peas tickets should look forward to hearing some of the biggest hits of the 21st Century including US number ones “Boom Boom Pow,” “Imma Be” and “I Gotta Feeling,” while the group’s last run of shows also included solo performances from Fergie (“Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Glamorous”) and apl.de.ap (“We Can Be Anything”) as well as a brief DJ set from will.i.am.
