Dumped by LeBron James in the offseason, the Miami Heat have fallen from the hierarchy of the NBA and into the mediocrity of the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference, where they sit at 17-22. The team has had sparks of greatness over the season’s first half, but the team has wavered under a barrage of injuries to Dwyane Wade and the unexpected leadership of Chris Bosh. Despite their shortcomings, however, prices still remain high for home games at American Airlines Arena.

The average price for Miami Heat tickets on TicketIQ is $182.41, which is still one of the highest-priced tickets in the NBA. The team will play its most expensive remaining home game against - who else - the Cavaliers on March 16. Heat vs Cavaliers tickets is $426.17 and the get-in price starts at $91. LeBron’s return to Miami several weeks ago received a mixed reaction of cheers and boos, though his Cavaliers haven’t fared much better over the first half of the season.

The Heat’s cheapest-priced game will come against the Bucks on January 27. The average secondary price for Heat vs Bucks tickets is $100.97 and the get-in price is listed at $9. Without rookie sensation Jabari Parker, the Bucks have managed to post a respectable 21-19 record on the season and are en route to play in their first winning season since 2010.

Playoff implications still remain high for the Heat as they cap off the first half. Watching LeBron relocate back to Cleveland has been hard on the former NBA champs, but a depleted Eastern Conference has kept hopes alive for late-April basketball at the American Airlines Arena.
