New York’s finest arena rock act and the self-proclaimed King of White Trash may not be the most obvious of touring buddies, but audiences will soon be able to snap up tickets for a series of joint Foreigner and Kid Rock shows.

Although no official dates have been confirmed as of yet, Foreigner bassist Jeff Pilson revealed on Brian Sword’s Double Stop Podcast earlier this week that the group hope to ‘create an interesting live experience’ with the southern rocker sometime in the summer.

The long-running seven-piece, who recently released live album, The Best of Foreigner 4 & More, are no stranger to the concept of the package tour, having previously hit the road with Styx and Kansas on 2010’s United in Rock Tour, Journey on a 2011 UK tour, and former Eagles guitarist Don Felder on last year’s Soundtrack of Summer Tour.

But the US chart-toppers will first take to the stage in 2015 on their own for a lengthy trek which kicks off at Biloxi’s Hard Rock Live on January 9 and winds up at Valdosta’s Wild Adventures Theme Park on May 9.

Foreigner tickets are available on TicketIQ for over a dozen of these shows with the May 8 performance at Southaven’s Snowden Grove Amphitheater currently with the lowest get-in price at $37, and the Jan 12 gig at Sarasota’s Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall with the highest at $311.
Fans should look forward to hearing all of their classic hits including “Cold as Ice,” “I Want To Know What Love Is” and “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” while those who get their hands on Foreigner and Kid Rock tickets should expect to hear material from the latter’s new album, First Kiss, which is scheduled for release on February 24.
