January 16, 2015

Super Bowl XLIX at the University of Phoenix Stadium is just a little over two weeks away as the festivities and entertainment that leads up to Super Bowl weekend is already set. First is the DirecTV Super Bowl party which kicks off the weekend as Zac Brown Band is the opening show of the three-day pregame music festival which begins on January 28 and concludes on the 31. Other artists performing on this bill include Calvin Harris, Imagine Dragons, and Snoop Dogg will be scheduled to perform during this week.

The opening night of the event is solely country music with Thomas Rhett, Sam Hunt, and the Cadillac Three all scheduled to perform on this bill. The main event will feature music superstar Rihanna, who takes the stage at the DirecTV Super Fan Stadium at the Pendergast Family Farm in Glendale, Arizona for the fifth annual DirecTV Super Saturday Night. The DirecTV Super Saturday Night has always delivered top-notch performers with Katy Perry in 2012, Justin Timberlake in 2013, Jay Z and Beyonce in 2014, and this year is no different with Rihanna. Also on that Saturday, Rolling Stone magazine will present their own Super Bowl party at the Venue of Scottsdale that will feature musical performances from artists such as Pitbull, Flo Rida, LMFAO, Cobra Starship, Lupe Fiasco, and Gym Class Heroes. Over 1,300 patrons are expected to attend that will include A-List celebrities, athletes, fans, a premium open bar, great food, unique experiences and activities, and some of the top music talents the industry has to offer.

Tickets for both of these Super Bowl parties are available now on TicketIQ but are in high demand as tickets for Saturday’s DirecTV Super Bowl party event have a current average price of $1,150.44 over 325 available tickets on the secondary market. The least expensive ticket to get in for this event is $963, though the price has dropped 10% over the past week.

However, fans will have to shell out, even more, to attend Rolling Stone’s Super Bowl Party on January 31 at the Venue of Scottsdale, as tickets for this event have a current average price of $1,356.65 on the secondary market, a 17.9% premium over tickets for the DirecTV Super Bowl party, as the least expensive ticket to get in the Rolling Stone’s Super Bowl party is $966 as there are 239 tickets left and the price is up 11% in the secondary market over the past week.
