Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks are on a quest to win their eleventh straight Big 12 title. Despite losing two top three NBA draft picks in Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid, Kansas sits on top of the Big 12 standings with a 4-1 record. Their lone Big 12 loss came to Iowa State on the road, which was the site of ESPN's College Gameday. The Jayhawks suffered two non-conference losses to Kentucky and Temple with one of the hardest schedules in the country. As the Jayhawks get into the meat of their conference schedule, they face one of the hardest conferences in the country from top to bottom. The Kansas Jayhawks have one of the best home court advantages in college basketball. In fact, Bill Self has more Big 12 championships (10) than losses at Allen Fieldhouse (9).

On Valentine's Day, the Baylor Bears will venture into Allen Fieldhouse to try to do what the Jayhawks already did to them in early January: get a win on the road. On January 7th, Kansas narrowly defeated Baylor, 56-55, for their 24th consecutive Big 12 opening win. All-time, Kansas has had great success against Baylor, boasting a 22-4 record vs. their Big 12 foe. The average ticket price for the Baylor game on February 14th is $342.45 on the secondary ticket market while the get-in price is $150.

Before the season began, the Texas Longhorns were picked to be the team that would best have a shot at unseating the Jayhawks from the top of the Big 12. The Longhorns have the athleticism, size and skill to match up with Kansas. On February 28th, Texas will try to do what few teams have done, which is win at Allen Fieldhouse. Freshman big man Myles Turner will make his Allen Fieldhouse debut after choosing Texas over Kansas in his recruiting process back in April. Turner's idol, Kevin Durant, was unable to win at Allen Fieldhouse as Texas tries to get their first win at Kansas since 2011. Tickets for this matchup are averaging $335.47 on the secondary market while the get-in price is $159.

In-state rival Kansas State will battle the Jayhawks in the Sunflower Showdown at Allen Fieldhouse on January 31st. As of January 19th, Kansas is tied with Kansas State atop the Big 12 standings. The Kansas State Wildcats struggled in their non-conference slate, starting off 7-6. However, they've been red hot to start the Big 12 schedule and are currently 4-1 in conference play. Like just about every other team, Kansas State hasn't fared well at Allen Fieldhouse, losing eight straight games in Allen Fieldhouse. Overall, Bill Self is 23-3 all-time vs. the Wildcats. Tickets for this matchup cost $334.52, on average, on the secondary ticket market while the get-in price is $148.
