Looking At Seether and Papa Roach Tickets One Week Into 2015 Tour

Alternative rock mainstays Seether and Papa Roach launched their much anticipated joint tour earlier this week at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach and since then the ticket market has risen to a $96.77 tour average asking price, a 6% increase from Seether's 2012 headlining US tour.

Despite generally being an expensive market, New York City is the cheapest date on the tour docket. The Terminal 5 gig on January 20th averages $52.60 on the secondary market with a $30 get in. Nearby Montclair New Jersey's Wellmont Theatre sports the most expensive date on the tour, a $157.57 average price on January 17th.

The Wiltern in Los Angeles has the greatest quantity of tickets available, with over 200 still on the market. The opener in Myrtle Beach saw a 14% price decrease in the week before the concert. Papa Roach's home town show in San Francisco at the Warfield currently has an asking price of $70.56 with a $46 get-in.

Seether & Papa Roach Announce 2015 Co-Headlining Tour

Nu-metal innovators Papa Roach and South African rock powerhouse Seether will be teaming up for a co-headlining tour in Winter 2015. Newcomers Kyng, and Islander (“Coconut Dracula”) will take the opening slots on all dates.

The tour kicks off January 9th at the Myrtle Beach House of Blues before hitting up Orlando's Hard Rock and Atlanta's Tabernacle on back to back nights. Things will then quickly move north to Philly's Electric Factory with only a day's rest. A good portion of the tour will remain on the East Coast with 7 shows in 9 days throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and New York.

After another day off, the tour resumes January 23rd for a Mid-West swing through Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago, Kansas City, and Waterloo. Another day off for travel separates a Texas doubleshot and mountain time performance at Denver's Fillmore on February 3rd.

The tour concludes with two shows in Papa Roach's home state of California – the closest to their hometown of Vacaville being February 5th at San Francisco's Warfield. Rounding out the tour is February 6th in Los Angeles and the 7th at the world famous The Joint in Las Vegas (currently inhabited by Kiss).

With nearly 35 years of material between the two bands, those in attendance can expect hit after hit, including “Last Resort”, “To Be Loved”, “Broken Home”, “Fine Again”, “Broken”, “Remedy”, and “Fake It”. Seether will playing select cuts from their critically acclaimed summer release “Isolate and Medicate” including singles “Words As Weapons” and “Same Damn Life”. Papa Roach will be debuting new material from their “F.E.A.R.” album to be released January 27th while also celebrating the 15th anniversary of “Infest”, their most commercially successful album to date.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale November 6th while the general public on-sale is November 7th. Seether will also be offering VIP packages on their official website including meet-and-greets, autographed memorabilia, and side stage viewing.

According to TicketIQ.com, this will be Seether's biggest US tour on the secondary market since 2012, in which they supported Nickelback & Bush in the Spring, and headlined alongside Sick Puppies in the Fall. 2012's opening slot on Nickelback & Bush's tour commanded an average asking price of $128, while the headlining tour later in the year averaged $91.
