Tickets for Broadway shows this week are in high demand as prices have skyrocketed with two shows this week at an asking average price of over $700. “Cabaret” for the third straight week is the top priced show on the secondary market as this week’s top list is a similar lineup that theatre fans should be familiar with. For the third straight week, “Cabaret” is the top priced Broadway show as this Saturday’s showing at Studio 54 have tickets at a current average price of $718.14 on the secondary market, with the least expensive ticket to get in at $648. Cabaret tells the story of 1930’s Berlin nightclub about a young English performer who strikes a relationship with an American writer.

1/16/15 - Newsical | Avg. Price: $717.50 | Get-in Price: $632

New to the top shows list is the musical “Newsical “, a hilarious 90 minute comedy that pokes fun of the latest headlines of current events, celebrities, and politicians through sketch comedy and songs. Newsical tickets for this Friday’s showing at the Kirk Theatre have a current secondary average price of $717.50, with a get in price of $632 as tickets are now up 47% over the past week.
