Top NBA Tickets Of The Week (1/26)

The NBA All-Star break is fast approaching as this week’s top games lineup features some intriguing matchups. Tickets for these games on the secondary market have not increased much in price compared to last week.  Only two top games this week have tickets at an average asking price of over $300 as the Lakers hosting the Bulls represents the most expensive game.  Here’s a breakdown of the top five NBA games of the week on the secondary market.

1/29/15- Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Lakers | Avg. Price: $380.42 | Get-in Price: $68

This Thursday, the top priced NBA game takes place at the Staples Center as the Los Angeles Lakers host the Chicago Bulls in an East vs West matchup.  The Bulls are going through some mid-season struggles as the Lakers are having one of their worst seasons in franchise history. It also just got worse, as Kobe Bryant is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a torn rotator cuff.  Lakers tickets this Thursday have a current average price of $380.42 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $68.

 

1/31/15- Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies | Avg. Price: $311.11 | Get-in Price: $36

At the FedExForum this Saturday, the Memphis Grizzlies host the Oklahoma City Thunder as the Grizzlies have shown throughout the first half of the season to be one of the elite teams in the West.  OKC is still playing catch-up after some early season injuries, and have really yet to go run since being back to full strength.  Grizzlies tickets for Saturday’s matchup have a current secondary average price of $311.11 with a get in price of $36.

 

1/30/15- Chicago Bulls at Phoenix Suns | Avg. Price: $253.42 | Get in Price: $45

The Phoenix Suns are still holding on to that final eighth seed in the West, but are getting a lot pressure from the Pelicans and Thunder as they get ready for a tough stretch of games.  They host the Chicago Bulls this Friday at the Talking Stick Resort Arena as Suns tickets this Friday have a current average price of $253.42 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $45.

 

1/30/15- Sacramento Kings at Cleveland Cavaliers | Avg. Price: $238.35| Get in Price: $26

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been rolling and are on a current six-game winning streak as they host the Sacramento Kings this Friday as the Quicken Loans Arena.  Cavaliers tickets against the Kings have a current secondary average price of $238.35, with a get-in price of $26 as tickets are down 27% over the past week.

 

2/1/15- Los Angeles Lakers at New York Knicks | Avg. Price: $236.44 | Get in Price: $58      

The New York Knicks finally ended their long losing streak as they host the Lakers at Madison Square Garden on Super Bowl Sunday.  Lakers vs Knicks tickets have a current average price of $236.44 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $58.
