February 23, 2015

One of the most anticipated tours of the summer is officially happening. Though no official dates have been released, Kanye West and Rihanna will play their first date of a joint tour in Estonia on July 25. KanyeToThe first broadcasted the news after Live Nation leaked the date. Tickets are scheduled to go on-sale on March 5.

The two superstars have an extensive history of collaborating in the past. Rihanna was the opening act on Kanye’s “Glow in the Dark Tour” in 2008 and has also sang on several tracks with him over the years. “FourFiveSeconds” is their latest musical endeavor together, which also features Paul McCartney.

Both artists are slated to release new albums later this year, which would make their upcoming tour a perfect promotional fit. Make sure to check back here for the latest Kanye West and Rihanna news as more dates become available.

Kanye West & Rihanna Reportedly Planning Joint Tour

Fans of Kanye West and Rihanna are currently buzzing with excitement following reports that the two superstars are to head out onto the road together for a joint North American trek.

The rumors began surfacing last month after ‘Tour Experiences’ for both Rihanna and West were confirmed as items up for grabs at a forthcoming charity auction, and this week Complex magazine received a flyer from a ‘reliable source’ which suggests the two packages are part of the same tour.

It wouldn’t be the first time that the two parties have worked together. Rihanna opened up for Kanye on his 2008 Glow in the Dark Tour, and also appeared on his 2010 single, “All of the Lights,” while more recently the pair collaborated with Paul McCartney on the acoustic track, “FourFiveSeconds.”

The two acts also shared the stage at DirectTV’s annual pre-Super Bowl concert on Sunday where they performed both solo and together, with West serving as hype man for several Rihanna tracks as well as contributing to her rendition of chart-topping single, “Diamonds.”

Kanye and Rihanna aren’t strangers to the concept of the joint tour either. The former hooked up with Jay-Z for a 63-date world tour in support of their joint album, Watch The Throne, back in 2011/12, while having previously scored a number one together with “Love The Way You Lie,” the latter reunited with Eminem for a six-date mini tour dubbed The Monster last year.

And with both acts reportedly gearing up to release new albums later this year, the likelihood of a Kanye and Rihanna tour continues to grow, so be sure to keep checking back on TicketIQ for the latest updates on what will undoubtedly be one of the must-see live events of 2015.
