Nickelback Announces 2015 “No Fixed Address” Tour Dates

(UPDATE: 2/5) Nickelback’s No Fixed Address Tour has added more dates to its Australian leg in May. Already slated to tour the U.S. and Canada from February to April, the band announced Thursday two more dates at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on May 16 and Entertainment Centre in Newcastle on May 23. Seven total shows are scheduled in Australia from May 15 to 23, when the ever-scrutinized rock group wraps at the Perth Arena in Perth. Nickelback's latest album, “No Fixed Address”, was released in November of last year.

(UPDATE) Selling more than 50 million albums worldwide, Nickelback has just announced 5 Australian dates for their "No Fixed Address" 2015 tour. Presale tickets will be available on November 18th with General Public on sale November 21st.

Nickelback 2015 Australian tour dates:
Friday, May 15 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Monday, May 18 – Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide
Wednesday, May 20 – Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
Friday, May 22 – Allphones Arena, Sydney
Tuesday, May 26 – Perth Arena, Perth
In support of their 8th studio effort “No Fixed Address”, Nickelback will embark on a massive 61 date tour throughout North America starting this Valentine's Day. The Taylor Momsen fronted The Pretty Reckless will be special guests during the early portion of the tour.

The tour announcement came during the multi platinum group's one-off benefit show at the House of Blues Sunset Strip on November 5th. With the album set to be released on November 17th, fans will have the opportunity to receive a free digital download of the album prior to release if they purchase tickets early. Members of Nickelback's fan club will have access to an exclusive pre-sale beginning November 7th, while Citi card holders get the next crack at tickets starting November 10th. Finally, the general public on-sale is set for November 15th. Primary market tickets for each show will start at $25. Each transaction includes a download of the album.

The tour is split into two legs – a winter indoor tour and summer outdoor tour. The winter leg kicks off on Valentine's Day at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA and concludes April 7th at the BOK Center in Tulsa. This portion of the tour completely ignores the west coast of the United States and spends most of the tour in the mid-west as well as Nickelback's home country of Canada. The Summer Leg begins June 19th at Portland's Sleep County Amphitheater and concludes August 29th at Atlanta's Aaron's Amphitheatre. This portion of tour visits all major US markets. The summer tour does not include any Canadian dates.
The setlist for both legs is expected to be filled with newer material from “No Fixed Address” (including singles “Edge Of A Revolution” and “What Are You Waiting For?”) along with chart topping singles from their nearly 20 year career including “Rockstar”, “How You Remind Me”, “Someday” and “Photograph”.

While trying to predict what the secondary market will look like, claims the arena portion of their 2012 “Here And Now” tour had an average ticket price of $128 on the resale market. TicketIQ predicts the “No Fixed Address” tour to have a lower average ticket price – primarily due to drop in quality of opening acts. The Pretty Reckless is certainly a respected band within rock audiences, but they undoubtably have less mainstream success and ultimate demand than 2012's openers of Bush and Seether.

The “Here And Now” tour's outdoor portion was much smaller than 2015 plans, and the average ticket price was $125. TicketIQ once again predicts a lower average this coming summer due to the opening acts not yet being announced.
