Phantom Of The Opera Tickets Averaging $170 Per Seat This Month on Secondary Market

Phantom of the Opera is by far the longest running Broadway show in history, celebrating its 10,000 performance on Broadway exactly three years ago to the day.  It’s also the second highest grossing Broadway production, totaling $845 million, which is surpassed only by The Lion King.  The Phantom musical continues its 27-year-plus run at the Majestic Theatre with another 22 scheduled shows this month. It tells the story of despair and seduction of a beautiful soprano who is the obsession of a disfigured and strange musical genius.

On TicketIQ, Phantom of the Opera tickets have an average price of $170.43 in the secondary market for this month.  The most expensive show in February is a Saturday 2pm showing on February 14 at the Majestic Theatre. Valentine’s Day tickets for the show have a current secondary market average price of $250.74, a 46.9% premium compared to the average price for tickets this month. The get-in price for this showing is $122.

For the least expensive show this month is the 2pm showing on February 26. Tickets for that time are going for an average price of $153.26, 10% below the average price of Phantom tickets this month. The get-in price is $47.
