The good news for theatre fans this week on Broadway is that tickets for the top shows list have decreased in price significantly compared to last week. “Cabaret” makes the cut for the second straight week, but this time as the top priced Broadway show this week and represents the only show that have tickets with an asking average price of over $500. Here are the top five Broadway shows of the week, by average price, on the secondary market.
2/6/15 - Cabaret | Avg. Price: $527.01 | Get-in Price: $437
This Friday, the top priced Broadway show on the secondary market, “Cabaret,” has an 8pm showing at Studio 54. Cabaret tickets have a current average price of $527.01, with a get-in price of $437. This Broadway production stars Alan Cumming and Emma Stone that tells the story of a seedy nightclub in 1930’s Berlin.
2/3/15 - The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night Time | Avg. Price: $491.80 | Get-in Price: $141
“The Curious Incident” Broadway production continues to find its way on the top shows list, now on a five week run. Tickets for Tuesday’s 7pm showing at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre have a current average price of $491.80 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $141.
