Wicked Tickets Averaging $245 Per Seat On Secondary Market This February

The Broadway Musical “Wicked” is one of the most popular Broadway productions that has enjoyed a long run since opening at the Gershwin Theatre in October of 2003. The musical tells the story of an untold tale from the perspective of the witches of the land of Oz as two unlikely friends Elphaba and Glinda take a fantasy journey into the unforeseen side of Oz and share an unexpected friendship and love. The Tony Award winning musical will be playing 22 more times this month at the Gershwin Theatre, including six more times this week.
According to TicketIQ, Wicked tickets for this month have a current average price of $245.38 on the secondary market. The most expensive show this month is Saturday night’s Valentine’s Day show as tickets have a current secondary average price of $299.03. That is a 21.8% premium compared to the musical’s average price for tickets for the month of February. The get in price of Saturday’s show is $181.
Wednesday, February 11th’s 7pm showing of Wicked is the least expensive show of the month at an average price of $167.91 on the secondary market. That is 34.4% below the show’s average this month and represents the only show with tickets at an asking average price of under $200. The least expensive ticket to get into the performance is $45.
