The Pittsburgh Pirates begin their 2015 campaign on the road for a six game road trip to the start the season. They return to PNC Park for their home opener against the Detroit Tigers on April 13. The Pirates have a total of 19 games featuring promotional giveaways and special events as all guests will receive a magnetic schedule for the home opening game. Other promotional giveaways in the month of April include Free Shirt Friday on the 17th, Zambelli Fireworks on the 18th, and Kids Sock Giveaway on April 19.
According to TicketIQ, Pirates tickets have a current average price of $110.65 on the secondary market for 19 promotional games for the Pirates. The most expensive ticket of these games is June 27 against the Atlanta Braves, which features the Starling Marte Bobblehead for the first 20,000 fans in attendance. Also, for every Friday the Pirates play at home will be Free Shirt Friday promotion for the first 20,000 fans in attendance.
