(UPDATE 3/24) The Carrier Dome in Syracuse will host the Eastern Regional this year, and the region’s two Sweet 16 games will be played this Friday. NC State and Louisville battle in the earlier game and will be followed by Oklahoma and Michigan State. Sweet 16 East Regional tickets on TicketIQ average at $141.79, down 38.5% from yesterday’s average of $230.48. The cheapest ticket available is now $45, $18 cheaper than yesterday’s get-in of $63.

(3/23) Typically home to the Syracuse Orange, the Carrier Dome will host East Regional games of the NCAA Tournament this week when the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight invade upstate New York. The Carrier Dome will feature a pair of notable matchups on Friday, with NC State facing Louisville and Oklahoma squaring off with Michigan State.
With NC State and Louisville playing in the earlier game Friday night followed by Oklahoma and Michigan State, the average price for East Regional tickets on TicketIQ is $230.48 and the cheapest available is listed for $63. It will be the cheapest ticket among all Sweet 16 regional games this year.

Both NC State and Michigan State pulled off upsets in the Round of 32. The Wolfpack took a three-point victory over No. 1 seed Villanova last weekend while the Spartans ousted Virginia from tournament play. Both teams will hope to keep dancing when they head to Syracuse later this week.
Following Friday’s games, the Elite Eight game between the winners of the two Sweet 16 games will be held on Sunday. The average price for Elite Eight East Regional tickets is $161.71 and the get-in price starts at $40 on the secondary market.
