Ciara is searching for the backing band on her upcoming tour. The “Goodies” singer is hitting the road later this year in support of her upcoming sixth album Jackie, which is slated to be released sometime this summer.
The band tryouts will be held at SIR Studios in Hollywood this Friday, March 13. Ciara will enlist the help of music director Kim Burse to select the tour’s final musicians. Drummers, bassists and guitarists are all welcome to the audition and will play along to the 29-year-old’s biggest hits. That includes “I Bet”, which is the lead single from Jackie.
The tour will be the first time Ciara has headlined a concert in nearly six years. Her eponymously named album was released in 2013, though the record received no promotion through touring.
All musicians who try out will have to pass a background check and must be 21 or older. Auditions will take place between 2pm and 6pm PT at SIR Studios, which is located at 6465 Sunset Boulevard.
