Gregg Allman is teaming up with the Doobie Brothers for a joint North American tour this summer. The iconic musician is already in the thick of a spring U.S. tour, but he’ll meet the Doobie Brothers for seven shows in August and September.
The joint tour will begin on August 19 at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston. It then travels to Canandaigua, New York for a show at the CMAC. Other states the tour will hit include New Hampshire, New Jersey and North Carolina. The final joint stop will be at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York on September 4.
As far as Allman’s solo tour, dates are scheduled through August 18 before the Doobie Brothers pick up the following day. Allman’s final solo show will be held on the Rock Legends IV Cruise in Fort Lauderdale from January 21-25 of next year.
