Folk singer, indie rocker, and occasional comedian Neko Case is going out on a solo tour this spring leading to rumors of a new album in the works. Case last released The Worst Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You in 2013 and as a member of Canadian supergroup The New Pornographers released Brill Bruisers last year to much acclaim. This tour kicks off on April 11th at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California which also includes roots rock band Alabama Shakes. On the 14th the tour heads to Bellingham in Case’s home state of Washington for a show at Mt. Baker Theater. On the 17th and 18th the singer will play two shows Portland, Oregon at the Revolution Hall. The tour will cap off the month of April with another pair of shows this time in St. Paul, Minnesota at the Fitzgerald Theatre on the 24th and 25th. After a break the tour resumes on June 12th with an appearance at the Northside Festival in Brooklyn, New York on June 12th. On the 15th the tour stops in Washington, DC for a show at The Lincoln Theatre. Neko Case’s solo tour will end on June 20th with an appearance at the Clearwater Festival in Croton-on-Hudson, New York only an hour from NYC.
