The War on Drugs Adds More Dates to Spring and Summer World Tour

If ticket sales are any indication, The War on Drugs is slated to have a memorable 2015. The band’s Lost on The Road Tour has sold so well over its initial spring dates that it’s announced additional dates that will run well into the summer.

The tour kicks off in Philadelphia on March 27 with a show at Tower Theater. It will wrap its North American run on June 21 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. Hop Along will support at several U.S. shows this spring.

From there the band will hit 10 countries in Europe through September 6, when the tour officially wraps at the End of the Road Festival in Wiltshire, England. 42 dates in total are scheduled over the seven-month road stint.

Performances at Coachella, Sasquatch!, The Governors Ball and Bonnaroo are just a few of the festivals the sextet will play this year. They’re also scheduled to play Down the Rabbit Hole, Way Out West, Vida Festival, Flow Festival and Electric Picnic.

The War on Drugs is supporting its latest release Lost in the Dream. The album clocked in at #3 on Pitchfork’s Best Albums of 2014 list and is the band’s third studio LP.
