This week in indie and alternative concerts range from folk to punk and everything in between. Starting on March 12th, Americana band Alabama Shakes will be at the Beacon Theatre in New York City and on the same day Irish folk sensation Hozier will be at the Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina. On the 13th punk rock band The Gaslight Anthem will be at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Celtic punk band the Dropkick Murphys will be in their native Boston, Massachusetts for a show on the 14th. Finally Bush and Theory of a Deadman will be at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas.
3/12 - Alabama Shakes at the Beacon Theatre Avg. Ticket Price $141.49 Get-in: $73
Alabama Shakes will be at the Beacon Theatre in New York City this week on the 12th. The show has an average ticket price of $141.49 and a lowest get-in price of $73. The band is set to release their follow up to their debut record Boys & Girls next month on April 21st called Sound & Color. For NYC fans who can not make it to this show on the 12th Alabama Shakes will also play a show at the Beacon Theatre on the 11th.

Irish folk singer Hozier will be at the Fillmore this week on the 12th in Charlotte, North Carolina. The average ticket price for the show is set at $130.85 though fans will be able to find tickets for as low as $86. The singer released his self-titled album last fall to much acclaim which was led by the hit single “Take Me to Church”. Hozier will also be in Atlanta this week on the 13th at the Tabernacle and on the 14th at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.

3/14 - Dropkick Murphys at the House of Blues Boston Avg. Ticket Price $130.76 Get-in: $47
Celtic punk band and Massachusetts natives the Dropkick Murphys are playing the House of Blues in Boston this week on the 14th. The average ticket price for this show is $130.76 and the lowest get-in price is $47. The band last released Signed and Sealed in Blood in 2013. This is one of many Boston shows at the band will also play on the 12th and 13th this week as part of an early St. Patricks Day celebration.

Alt-rock bands Bush and Theory of a Deadman will be at the Majestic Theatre this week on the 14th in San Antonio, Texas. The average ticket price of the show is $105.64 and the lowest get-in price is $88. Bush released Man on the Run last year while Theory of a Deadman put out Savages. Before the bands head to San Antonio they have two other shows in Texas. On the 11th at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas and on the 13th at the Bayou Music Center in Houston.
