Baseball season is nearly here and for many baseball fans, that means the return of Vin Scully behind the microphone. No longer is Scully just a gem for the Los Angeles market as the long time announcer of the Dodgers, with MLB.tv, Scully’s voice can be heard announcing games all across the country. Scully is one of the most legendary announcer in sports history and 2015 will mark his 66th season in the booth.
As has been customary for the past few seasons, the Dodgers will hold a Vin Scully bobblehead night. That game will be one of the last of the season, a September 23 game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The get-in price for the game is $13, while the get-in price for the other two games of the series against Arizona is $5.
The 87-year-old Scully will start his season by calling four spring training games this year. One will come against the San Francisco Giants and three will come against the Los Angeles Angels in three different stadiums. The Dodgers and Angels will play on March 28 at Tempe Diablo Stadium, April 2 at Angel Stadium and April 4 at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers will start their season at home on April 6 against the San Diego Padres. The average price for the game is currently $211.33 with a get-in price of $80.
