Patriots, Brady vs Manning 17 Most Expensive Home Game On 2015 Broncos Schedule

April 21, 2015

It was a disappointing postseason for Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, who fell to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Divisional Round in January. Rumors began to circulate that Manning would retire, but the 39-year-old has instead chosen to take a $4 million pay-cut and rejoin the Broncos in 2015. Manning will return for at least one more run at the Super Bowl.

Like Manning’s other title runs, the path will go through the New England Patriots at one point. New England will visit Denver during Week 12 for what will be the most expensive Broncos tickets on the secondary market this season. The Sunday Night Football game has Broncos vs Patriots tickets listed for a low price of $281, well above the average price for many NFL games.

The meeting between Manning and Tom Brady has placed a considerable ticket demand on the game. Both future Hall of Fame quarterbacks front teams with Super Bowl experience and are again expected to make deep postseason runs this January. The two gunslingers have played each other 16 times since the 2001 season, with Brady leading the series 11-5.

It’s no surprise that tickets on the secondary market are posting massive prices. The two teams last met in Week 9 of last year at Gillette Stadium, where secondary ticket prices averaged at $564.88, easily the most expensive home games of the Patriots schedule last season.

Denver currently has three games with a get-in price of $141 this season, currently the lowest price on the secondary market at Sports Authority Field. Those games are against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4, Oakland Raiders in Week 14 and Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16 for Monday Night Football.
