April 28, 2015
The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas will welcome iconic rock band Journey for a residency beginning this Wednesday. The band is slated to play nine shows through May 16, and fans searching the secondary market for tickets won’t find them for cheap.
According to TicketIQ, the average secondary price for Journey tickets over their short stint in Vegas is $207.37. The quintet will play its most expensive Sin City show on May 9, when tickets average at $222.24 and get-in price starts at $77. Of the nine scheduled shows, only two will see an average secondary price below $200 on the resale market.
The band’s cheapest Las Vegas date will be on May 2. That show currently owns a secondary average of $187.31 and the cheapest available ticket is $56. The other sub-$200 average show will be held on May 6. Tickets for that show average at $188.13, though limited ticket inventory for that show has caused get-in price to start at $108.
