Mike Gordon Announces Solo U.S. Tour Dates
April 10, 2015
Phish bassist Mike Gordon will be touring the country this summer. The solo tour kicks off in June and will run across 15 dates through the end of the month.
The first stop is scheduled for June 5 at the Charleston Music Hall in South Carolina. It will hit notable cities like Atlanta, St. Louis and Chicago before wrapping at Union Transfer in Philadelphia on June 28.
Perhaps the tour’s biggest attraction will be the use of the “EEL”, a gigantic keyboard that allows fans to play the band at each show. Gordon is bringing a quartet of band members with him, too, with Scott Murawski (guitar), Robert Walker (keyboardist) and percussionists Craig Myers and John Kimock rounding out the lineup.
He’ll be out on the road supporting his latest LP Overstep, which was released in 2014. The album was a follow-up to 2014’s The Egg.
