This week in indie and alternative concerts kicks off on April 8th with a show from emo heroes Brand New, with a show at the Fillmore in Denver, Colorado. On the 9th folk singer Hozier will will be at the Chelsea in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the 10th alt-rockers Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington will be at the Fillmore in San Francisco, California. On the 11th Sufjan Stevens will be playing a highly anticipated show at the Beacon Theatre in New York City and up the road in Boston, indie band Walk the Moon will be playing a show at the House of Blues.
4/8 - Brand New at the Fillmore Colorado Avg. Ticket Price $211.77 Get-in: $50
Emo rockers Brand New will be at the Fillmore in Denver, Colorado this week on the 8th. The average ticket price is set at $211.77 but fans will be able to find tickets for a mere $50. The band has not released a new album since 2009’s Daisy though the band is rumored to be in the studio later this year. On the 10th the band will play the Great Saltair in Magna, Utah before playing the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California on the 12th.
4/9 - Hozier at The Chelsea Avg. Ticket Price $129.42 Get-in: $40
Irish folk singer Hozier will be at The Chelsea in Las Vegas, Nevada this week on the 9th. The average ticket price is $129.42 though fans will be able to find tickets for as low as $40. Hozier took the world by storm with his single “Take Me to Church” off of his self-titled record which came out last year. The singer will appear at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California on the 11th with other great artists such as Father John Misty, FKA Twigs and more.
4/11 - Sufjan Stevens at the Beacon Theatre Avg. Ticket Price $113.36 Get-in: $57
Sufjan Stevens will be playing at the Beacon Theatre in New York City this week on the 11th. The average ticket price for this show is $113.36 and the lowest get-in price is $57. The singer known most in indie circles just released his seventh album Carrie & Lowell last month to much acclaim. Stevens will play a pair of shows at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the 9th and 10th and on the 12th will be at the Bushnell Center for Performing Arts in Hartford, Connecticut.

Stone Temple Pilots will be at the the Fillmore in San Francisco, California this week on the 10th. The show has an average ticket price of $113.18 and a lowest get-in price of $68. The band now fronted by Chester Bennington of Linkin Park fame released an ep High Rise back in 2013. Fans on the west coast can also catch the band in Anaheim at the House of Blues on the 12th and at the HOB in Los Angeles on the 13th.

Indie rock band Walk the Moon will be performing at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts this week on the 11th. The show has an average ticket price of $94.76 and a lowest get-in price of $66. The band released their sophomore album Talking Hard last year led by the single “Shut Up and Dance”. Fans in New England can also catch the band in Providence, Rhode Island at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel on the 9th and the Asylum in Portland, Maine on the 10th.
