Top Broadway Tickets of The Week (4/13)

The top Broadway tickets on the secondary have dropped for some of the shows that were featured last week.  The new Broadway production, “The King and I,” reigns supreme for the third straight week as the top priced Broadway ticket on the secondary market and tickets for this show have increased by 21% since last week.  Here’s a breakdown of the top five Broadway tickets on the secondary market this week, according to TicketIQ.

4/19/15 - The King and I | Avg. Price: $2,700.76 | Get-in Price: $1,085

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I continues a strong three week run as the top priced Broadway ticket on the secondary market.  Showing at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre this Sunday has tickets going for an average price of $2,700.76, a 21% price increase since last week and the get-in price for Sunday’s show is $1,085.

 

4/17/15 - Fish in The Dark | Avg. Price: $482.12 | Get-in Price: $179

The self penned comedy Fish in the Dark by co-creator of Seinfeld Larry David has received positive reviews since debuting on Broadway last month.  Fish in the Dark tickets for their showing this Friday at the Cort Theatre are going for an average price of $482.12 on the secondary market and a get-in price of $179.

 

4/18/15 - The Audience | Avg. Price: $436.25 | Get-in Price: $310

The new Broadway production The Audience debuted at the Schoenfeld Theatre last month as Helen Mirren stars as Elizabeth II in Peter Morgan’s Drama.  The Audience tickets for this Saturday’s show are going for a secondary average price of $436.25, with a get-in price of $310.

 

4/15/15 - Curious Incident | Avg. Price: $419.85 | Get-in Price: $122

The Curious Incident Broadway production returns the top shows list after a brief hiatus with a showing this Wednesday at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre as tickets for this show have a current average price of $419.85 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $122.

 

4/18/15 - The Book of Mormon | Avg. Price: $395.05 | Get-in Price: $176

The Book of Mormon also makes a return this week to the top shows list as this musical continues a strong run on Broadway since debuting in March of 2011.  Tickets for Saturday’s show at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre are going for an average price of $395.05 on the secondary market, with the least expensive ticket to get in priced at $176.
