The top Broadway tickets on the secondary market feature another strong lineup this week of Broadway productions. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The King & I. for the second straight week, is the top priced Broadway show and at a much higher price compared to last week. The other shows on this list will be at a more normal range in price, but four of the five Broadway plays will have tickets at an asking average price of over $500. The new Broadway production The King and I is this week’s top priced show, but tickets have increased by 173% since last week for this Tuesday’s showing at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Thursday’s show is currently at an average price of $2,221.87 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $1,987. This Broadway revival tells the story of British Governess helping an Eastern King.
4/11/15 - Fish in The Dark | Avg. Price: $584.24 | Get-in Price: $220
The funny Broadway comedy by Larry David, the co-creator of Seinfeld, continues its strong run with a show this Saturday at the Cort Theatre. Fish in the Dark tickets for Saturday’s showing have a current secondary average price of $584.24, with a get-in price of $220.

The classic children’s story, Matilda, makes a return to the top shows list after a lengthy hiatus. Matilda tickets for this Thursday’s showing at the Shubert Theater are going for a secondary average price of $351.57, with a get-in price of $212.

A new Broadway production, The Audience, recently debuted last month at the Schoenfeld Theater. The play tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II and her secret meeting with twelve of her Prime Ministers for sixty years.
