(UPDATE 5/6/15) Seven shows into its spring and summer tour, post-punk outfit Interpol is seeing considerable ticket demand on the secondary market. The band is slated to play North American dates through the end of July, making 17 more stops over the next three months. According to TicketIQ, the average secondary price for Interpol tickets is $55.14.
The trio makes its most expensive tour stop on July 14 at Danforth Music Hall Theatre in Toronto. That show currently owns a secondary ticket average of $94.82, 71.9% above tour average, and get-in price starts at $48. The cheapest date of tour will be held on May 15 at Bogarts in Cincinnati, where ticket price averages at $38 and the least expensive ticket is listed for $17.
Interpol is out on tour in support of El Pintor, its latest studio release. Among other notable stops along the spring and summer tour include the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, The Fillmore in Detroit, Boston’s House of Blues and Echostage in Washington, D.C.
Interpol Release 2015 North American Tour Dates
(1/23/15) New York City based post-punk band Interpol are going on tour later this year in support of their album El Pintor which came out back in September. This tour includes shows that were rescheduled from their winter tour that were cancelled due to a snowstorm as well as some spring festival appearances. The band is on tour in Europe but will return stateside on April 8th for a show at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Arizona. On April 10th Interpol will play the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California where they will share the stage with Tame Impala, Flying Lotus, and others. The band will return to Coachella on the 17th as well. On the 13th Interpol will play the Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan which has the cheapest average ticket price of the tour of only $64, compared to the tour average of $87.65. After a show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on the 16th the band will take two months off and head to Europe before returning in July and will play Brooklyn, New York on the 21st at the Prospect Park Bandshell. The show on the 23rd, the first of two at the House of Blues in Boston has the most expensive average ticket price of $124Tour stops in Clifton Park, New York on the 29th at the Upstate Concert Hall before ending north in Montreal, Canada with a show at the Metropolis on the 31st.
