Magic Duo Penn & Teller Announce Limited Run on Broadway

Magic-comedy duo Penn & Teller will be making their way back to Broadway for a limited time. The limited engagement at the Marquis Theatre is set to start on July 7 and run through August 16. There will be no extensions of the run as a Gloria and Emilio Estefan musical, On Your Feet!, is scheduled to open at the Marquis in October.
Penn & Teller on Broadway! tickets are already available and some have already found their way onto the secondary market. Across the limited amount of tickets to hit the secondary market for the 48 scheduled shows, the average price is currently $219.21. On the primary market, ticket prices range from $47-$147.
The duo will finish out their Las Vegas residency through the end of May before they head East to New York. Penn & Teller tickets at the Penn & Teller Theater in the Rio Hotel have an average price of $116.40 on the secondary market for the 19 events scheduled in May.
This will not be the first time Penn & Teller have been on Broadway. They first performed in 1987 after a successful off-Broadway run that started in 1985. They returned again in 1991 as part of The Refrigerator Tour. Since that time, the duo has received six Emmy nominations and has won seven “Las Vegas Magician of the Year” awards for their show at the The Rio.
