Nashville Stop at Grand Ole Opry House Cheapest Remaining Date on Paramore’s “Writing the Future” Tour

(UPDATE 5-13-15) Pop rock outfit Paramore is midway through its “Writing the Future” Tour, which will feature the band playing intimate sets in theatres across North America through the end of the month. Hayley Williams and Co. have seven more dates remaining over their brief road stint and are garnering a significant ticket demand on the secondary market.

The average secondary price for Paramore tickets over the band’s seven remaining tour dates is $96.24. Also featuring indie rockers Copeland, the tour will make its most expensive stop on May 23 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. That show currently owns a secondary average of $186.38 and the get-in price starts at $66.

Interestingly enough, the cheapest date will be at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House on May 17. Paramore hails from Franklin, Tennessee, just 21 miles south of Nashville, though tickets average at $52.85 for their hometown show. The cheapest price for the Grand Ole Opry House gig is $16.

Paramore Tickets on “Writing The Future” Tour Nearing $100 Average on Resale Market

(UPDATE 4/27/15) May is quickly approaching, and pop punk outfit Paramore will embark on the “Writing The Future” Tour with Copeland this Saturday at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis. The stripped-down month-long tour will stretch across the U.S. through May 25, when it wraps at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon.

According to TicketIQ, the average price for Paramore tickets over the band’s short road stint is $95.66 on the secondary market. With limited ticket inventory on the resale market to many upcoming shows, the most expensive date will be held on May 23 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, with tickets averaging at $175.54 and get-in price starting at $55.

The band’s cheapest show will be on May 5 at the Citi Performing Arts Center in Boston. The average secondary price for that show is currently $67.92, 28.9% below tour average, and the get-in price is $12.

Offering more intimate performances this time out, Paramore will hit several theatres and concert halls throughout May, ditching the arena-sized venues for smaller shows. 16 dates are scheduled in total, including notable stops at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, Saenger Theatre in New Orleans and Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

(UPDATE 4/6) The calendar has just turned to April, but Paramore fans can’t wait until it turns to May. Paramore will 14 shows throughout the month of May, starting on May 3 and ending on May 25. During the short run, Paramore will be joined by Copeland. Over the 14 shows, the average price for Paramore tickets is currently $111.17.

For a majority of Paramore’s shows, there is limited inventory on the secondary market. The most expensive show is currently on May 23 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The average price is $183.14 with a get-in price of $63. A stop at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville holds the least expensive average price of the tour. The current average price is $89.77 with a get-in price of $35.

(1/23/15) If it seems like Paramore haven’t let up in the last two years, well, that’s because they haven’t. The group will end its self-titled release’s touring pattern with a series of “intimate” shows this spring and have fittingly named it the “Paramore: Writing the Future" 2015 Tour. They’ll play 17 dates in April and May, playing theatre and arena venues across the U.S. A Hangout Music Festival stop is also scheduled for May 15 and 16.

Paramore will begin its upcoming tour on April 27 at the Bell Auditorium in Augusta, Georgia. From there, the band will head through major cities across the country, making stops in Chicago, Boston, New York City, Atlantic City, Baltimore, New Orleans, Nashville and Los Angeles along the way. They’ll wrap with a show at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon on May 25.

Primary tickets will go on sale on Monday, January 26 at 9am for Paramore email subscribers. The general public will have to wait until Friday, January 30 to scoop up tickets.

The band has stated that its next run of shows won’t necessarily be a tour, but a “little event” celebrating all that it has accomplished since releasing Paramore in April of 2013. Since that time, the group has seen lead singles “Still Into You” and “Ain’t It Fun” skyrocket to the top of the Billboard Top 100. The self-titled album has sold 106,000 copies in its first week alone and debuted at #1 on the U.S. Charts, making it Paramore’s first record to ever accomplish such a feat.
