Denver Cheapest, Chicago Most Expensive Cities on Passion Pit’s Remaining Tour Dates

(UPDATE 5/13/15) Indie pop rockers Passion Pit recently began a spring tour leg behind Kindred, their latest studio release. The band is scheduled to play eight more shows through the end of the month, making stops at notable venues like Thalia Hall in Chicago, Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City and Denver’s Ogden Theatre. Fans hoping to attend an upcoming show this month will find considerable prices for tickets on the secondary market. According to TicketIQ, the average secondary price for Passion Pit tickets is $60.67.

Passion Pit will make its most expensive stop on May 13 at Thalia Hall in Chicago. That show currently owns a secondary average of $93.53 and the get-in price is $50. AMay 22 gig at Red Butte Garden is the second top-priced show, seeing an average price of $76.87 and $59 low price.

The band’s cheapest date will be on May 26 at Ogden Theatre in Denver. Tickets for their Mile High show currently average at $50.89 and the cheapest available ticket is $27. Two consecutive shows at the Showbox in Seattle on May 19 and 20 are the second and third least expensive shows, owning respective average prices of $54.59 and $59.69 on the secondary market.

Passion Pit Begins U.S. Tour this Weekend

(UPDATE 4/24/15) Indie outfit Passion Pit will begin a U.S. tour this weekend in support of Kindred, their latest studio effort. The tour kicks off at the Norva in Virginia this Sundayand makes its way across the country through May 30, when it wraps at the BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley, California. 17 dates in total are scheduled over the month-long leg.

According to TicketIQ, the average price for Passion Pit tickets on the upcoming tour is $120.86 on the secondary market. The band’s most expensive date will be on May 13 at Thalia Hall in Chicago. That show currently owns a secondary average of $451.19, 273% above tour average, and the get-in price starts at $56. Their cheapest show will be held at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York on May 11, where tickets average at $59.21, 51% below tour average, and get-in price is $30.

Passion Pit Announce 2015 Tour Dates

(2/24/15) Indie pop band Passion Pit is going out on tour this spring in support of their new album Kindred due out on April 21st. This is the bands third overall and follow up to 2012’s Gossamer. The tour kicks off in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Baku Music + Art Project on March 14th. The band will then head to Austin, Texas on the 17th to play the FADER Fort. After stopping at the McDowell Mountain Music Festival in Phoenix, Arizona on the 27th, Passion Pit will play a couple shows in Europe before coming returning on April 26th with a show in Norfolk, Virginia at The Norva. The tour starts off the month of May with a pair of shows in Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club on May 5th and 6th. On the 11th the band will head to Brooklyn, New York for a show at King’s Theatre and on the 13th and 14th to Chicago, Illinois for two nights at Thalia Hall. Following that the tour heads to the west coast with a show in San Diego, California on the 17th at the North Park Theatre. The tour will end in Napa, California at the BottleRock Festival on May 30th. Passion Pit will play again in Canada at WayHome Music and Arts Festival in Oro Medonte, Ontario.
