With Tour Starting Next Week, Purity Ring Tickets Average $67 On Secondary Market
(UPDATE 5/14/15) Riding the momentum of their second full length “Another Eternity”, Canadian electronic duo Purity Ring are set to begin their 2015 North American tour Monday May 18th in Salt Lake City.
The band's popularity is undeniable as a strong secondary market has formed for the nearly all General Admission tour, averaging a $67 asking price. The most expensive date is currently June 5th at Metropolis in Montreal, averaging $134 per ticket. That is, however the only date to eclipse a $100 average. The cheapest date is June 20th at Oakland's Fox Theater with a $48 average.
Two shows with falling ticket prices are May 24th at Houston's House of Blues and June 2nd at New York's Terminal 5. Ticket prices have fallen 4% and 7% respectively but feature plenty of inventory that brokers will soon be looking to unload at near-face price.

Purity Ring Announce 2015 World Tour Dates In Support Of “Another Eternity”
(1/29/15) While fans are eagerly awaiting their seemingly-out of nowhere second album, Canadian synthpop duo Purity Ring have announced an extensive world tour kicking off April 8th in Belgium and concluding just over two months later in California.
The tour will be in support of “Another Eternity” which is scheduled to be released on March 3rd and is the long-awaited followup to 2012's breakthrough “Shrines”. The album was met with critical acclaim for it's vast “breathy” production and percussion based rhythms, being nominated for the Juno award for “Electronic Album Of The Year”
The band surprised most fans, releasing two singles “Begin Again” and “Push Pull” before even acknowledging a second album was in the works. With excitement at an all time high, the tour couldn't come at a better time.
Looking at a limited secondary market for Purity Ring tickets, the average asking price is just $46. More tickets are expected to flood the market after the official on-sale, as the band is playing to it's largest audiences yet in venues such as New York's Terminal 5 and Washington DC's 9:30 Club.
