Top Broadway Tickets Of The Week (5/25)

The dominance on the secondary ticket market continues for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The King and I,” coming in for the eighth straight week as the top priced Broadway show.  Many other top shows this week will be familiar to both theater fans and readers of this list each week. 5/31/15 – The King and I | Avg. Price: $570.12 | Get-in Price: $229

Tickets on the secondary market for “The King and I” are at a much more reasonable price range compared to last week, but still reigns as the top priced show.  This Sunday, The King and I tickets are going for a secondary average price of $570.12 and the get-in price is $229.

5/31/15 – The Audience | Avg. Price: $472.30 | Get-in Price: $434

Academy Award winning actress Helen Mirren returns to Broadway, starring as Queen Elizabeth II in a terrific play by Peter Morgan.  The Audience tickets for Sunday’s showing at the Schoenfeld Theatre have a current average price of $472.30 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $434.

5/28/15 – The Curious Incident | Avg. Price: $419.99 | Get-in Price: $122

“The Curious Incident” returns to the top priced shows this week, which tells the interesting tale of a 15-year-old boy playing detective to the killing of a neighbor’s dog.  The Curious Incident tickets for Thursday’s show at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre are going for an average price of $419.99 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $122.

5/28/15 – Fish in the Dark | Avg. Price: $370.21 | Get-in Price: $160

The creator of HBO’s original series “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and sitcom “Seinfeld” made his Broadway debut earlier this year and debuted a new funny comedy show at the Cort Theatre. “Fish in the Dark” has since generated good reviews.  Fish in the Dark tickets for this Thursday’s show have a current secondary average price of $370.21, with a get-in price of $160.

5/28/15 – Kinky Boots | Avg. Price: $313.63 | Get in Price: $110
After an almost two month hiatus from the top shows list,  “Kinky Boots” returns this week, as this musical tells the story of Charlie Price. who now runs his father’s business that is on the verge of bankruptcy.  Kinky Boots tickets for Thursday’s show at the AL Hirschfeld Theatre have an average price of $313.63 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $110.
