(UPDATE 6/3/15) One of pop-punk's most successful bands, Bowling For Soup are in the midst of celebrating their 21st Anniversary and tickets for select dates are commanding big bucks on the secondary market.
June 21st at Cleveland's House Of Blues is the priciest date on the tour with an average asking price of $122.94 per ticket. The only other date to average about $100 is the hometown show at Dallas' House oF Blues on Saturday June 6th.
Surprisingly, New York City and the Irving Plaza is currently the cheapest date on the tour, with the June 18th engagement averaging $58.09 per ticket with the cheapest available coming in below face price at $23. Bowling For Soup Announce 21st Anniversary 2015 Tour Dates
(3/9/15) Pop-punk band Bowling For Soup are going on tour this year in celebration of their 21st anniversary together as a band. The tour is called "Bowling For Soup Is Finally Legal Tour!! (BFS Turns 21!)". The band released a greatest hits collection called Songs People Actually Liked (Vol. 1 - The First 10 Years 1994-2003) back in November so fans should expect to hear all the classics from Bowling For Soup’s discography. The tour which will feature opening acts The Dollyrots and Ivory Tribes starts on June 5th with a show in Bowling For Soup’s home state of Texas in Houston at the House of Blues. The tour continues the next day on the 6th with a show at the Dallas House of Blues. The Dallas show also has the most expensive average ticket price of $63.60, compared to the tour average of $53.49. The tour comes to New York City on June 18th for a show at Irving Plaza. The next day on the 19th the bands will play the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia which has the cheapest average ticket price of only $48. The tour will stop in Chicago, Illinois at the Bottom Lounge on the 23rd and will end the month on the 25th with a show in Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, Kentucky. The tour will then resume on September 11th in Denver, Colorado at the Marquis Theatre. These string of west coast dates culminate with a show in Los Angeles on the 19th at The Roxy and on the 20th in Anaheim at the House of Blues.
