(UPDATE 6/2/15) After playing a short stint of shows in Florida and South Carolina last month, punk rock outfit Flogging Molly will begin its joint run of shows with gypsy punks Gogol Bordello next Thursday. The co-headlining tour is slated to run between June 11 and 29, playing 13 shows across the U.S. over the two-week stretch. Tickets are quickly starting to flood the secondary market as well, with greater than 3,400 tickets available across all shows.
According to TicketIQ, the average secondary price for Flogging Molly tickets and Gogol Bordello tickets on the joint run of shows is $70.75. The most expensive show will be held onJune 19 at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston, where tickets own a secondary average of $81.36 and the cheapest ticket available is $35. Conversely, the cheapest show comes onJune 23 at The Lawn at River State Park. That show owns a secondary ticket average of $53.80 and get-in price starts at $45.
The tour ultimately wraps on June 29, with its final show being held at Lifestyle Communities Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.
Flogging Molly Launches 2015 Tour in Memphis This Week
(UPDATE 4/29/15) Irish punk rockers Flogging Molly begin their massive summer tour campaign this weekend when they hit the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis this Saturday. The band will embark on a four-month route through North America and will be accompanied by gypsy rock outfit Gogol Bordello beginning in June. The eclectic blend of music is generating a big demand for tickets on the secondary market, and Flogging Molly tickets over the band’s upcoming tour currently average at $83.53.
The most expensive date of tour will be held on June 19 at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston. That show owns a secondary average of $99.79 and get-in price starts at $39. Other top-priced shows will occur on June 25 at the Pier Six Concert Pavilion in Baltimore ($82.81), June 15 at the Uptown Amphitheatre in North Carolina ($73.20) and June 13 at the PNC Pavilion in Cincinnati ($72.76).
Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida will host the least expensive date on May 6. The show sees tickets average at $50.71 and the get-in price start at $44. On June 27, the band plays Penns Landing Festival Pier in Philadelphia and owns a current secondary average of $53.40 and $49 get-in.
Gogol Bordello And Flogging Molly Announce Joint 2015 Tour
(2/18/15) Celtic punk band Flogging Molly is going on tour with gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello this summer for what is sure to be an eclectic and chaotic string of shows. Flogging Molly has a yet untitled new album due out this year, their follow up to 2011’s Speed of Darkness. Gogol Bordello last put out Pura Vida Conspiracy in 2013. The tour also includes the alter ego of hardcore punk band the Bronx, Mariachi el Bronx to round out this multicultural sound.
The tour begins on June 11th in Rochester Hills, Michigan at the Meadow Brook Theatre. That show has the least expensive average ticket price of $49, compared to the tour average of $100.85. The bands then head to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a show at the Stage AE Pavillion on the 12th. On June 18th the tour will heads to the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut. This is one of the closest shows for fans who live in Gogol Bordello’s hometown of New York City to catch the tour as there are no scheduled NYC stops. The next day on the 19th the bands heads to Boston, Massachusetts stopping at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion which has the most expensive average ticket price of $153.41. On June 26th the bands will play at the Stone Pony Lot in Asbury Park, New Jersey and on the 27th at the Festival Pier in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The tour comes to an end on June 29th in Columbus, Ohio a the Lifestyles Communities Pavilion.
