After returning to the limelight with a slew of reunion shows late last year, British new wave icons Tears For Fears will hit the road for a short tour run through North America beginning this weekend. Nine shows are scheduled between June and the end of September and many of the band’s shows are seeing a demand for tickets on the secondary market. According to TicketIQ, the average secondary price for Tears For Fears tickets along the summer run of shows is $118.46.
The tour kicks off this Sunday at Kool Concert 2015 in Colorado. Also featuring performances by The B-52s and Berlin, the average price for Kool Concert 2015 tickets is $70.67, making it its cheapest show of tour. The get-in price, or cheapest available ticket, is now $21. The most expensive show the band will play comes on June 19, however, when it hits Ovations Live! at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, Arizona. That show currently owns a secondary ticket average of $352.33 and $297 get-in price.
Additional shows at Uptown Theater in Kansas City on June 15 and a performance at Jack Radio Show at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on June 20 also own big ticket averages on the secondary market at $262.33 and $151.07, respectively. A June 18 gig at Sandia Casino Amphitheater is the only one other show that averages below $100 with a median price of $75.76 and $54 get-in.
Tears For Fears will be out on tour until September 26, wrapping at Casino Rama Entertainment Center in Ontario.
