This week in indie and alternative concerts features a wide variety of killer bands. Kicking things off on the 26th Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes will be at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan. On the night of the 27th starting things off on the east coast Morrissey along with Blondie will perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City while sludge band The Melvins will be at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Massachusetts. Also on the 27th Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa, and Hoodie Allen will be at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland while on the west coast Ben Folds will be at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Ben Folds will be at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California this week on the 27th with a lowest get-in price of only $54. The singer last released a solo album in 2008 with Way to Normal and a record under Ben Folds Five in 2012 The Sound of the Life of the Mind. Folds will also collaborate with yMusic on an upcoming album called So There. Fans can catch Ben Folds on the 28th at the Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, California.

Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa will be at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland this week on the 27th. This lineup of punk and hip-hop is part of “The Boys of Zummer” tour which will include rapper Hoodie Allen. Fall Out Boy last released American Beauty/American earlier this year and Wiz Khalifa released his hit single “See You Again” this year. The tour will also stop in Hartford, Connecticut at the XFinity Theatre on the 26th.
