Top Indie & Alternative Concert Tickets Of The Week (6/8)

This week in indie and alternative concerts kicks off with Welsh indie rock band Catfish and the Bottlemen playing at the Varsity Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 9th. On the 10th fellow Brit, Florence and the Machine will perform at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts. Also on the 10th Scotland natives Belle & Sebastian will perform at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The next day in NYC punk band Bad Religion will stop at the Bowery Ballroom. Finally on the 14th, classic 80’s bands Tears For Fears, The B-52’s, and Berlin will play the Kool Concert 2015 at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, Colorado.

6/11 Bad Religion at Bowery Ballroom - Average Ticket Price $55.52 | Get-in: $36

Punk band Bad Religion will stop in New York City this week at the Bowery Ballroom on the 11th. The show has an average ticket price of $55.52 and a lowest get-in price of $36. The band most recently released True North back in 2013 but are working on a new album later this year. Fans in NYC can also catch Bad Religion on the 9th or 10th in Brooklyn at the Music Hall of Williamsburg or at another Bowery Ballroom show on the 12th.

 

6/10 Belle & Sebastian at Radio City Music Hall - Average Ticket Price $97.62 | Get-in: $50

Scottish indie-pop band Belle & Sebastian will play the Radio City Music Hall in New York City this week on the 10th. The show has an average ticket price of $97.62 though fans can find tickets for as low as $50. The band released their 9th studio album Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance earlier this year. On the 9th Belle & Sebastian will play The Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and on the 11th in Washington D.C. at the Echostage.

Pop sensation Florence and the Machine will be at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts this week on the 10th. The show has an average ticket price of $147.02 and a lowest get-in price of $92. The band led by singer Florence Welch most recently released their 3rd album this year How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful to much acclaim. On the 9th the band will stop in Columbia, Maryland for a show at the Merriweather Post Pavilion and on the 11th in Chattanooga, Tennessee at the Great Stage Park.

 

6/14 Kool Concert 2015: Tears For Fears, B-52’s, and Berlin at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre - Average Ticket Price $81.35 | Get-in: $19

The Kool Concert 2015 will be held this week on the 14th at the Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, Colorado. The show features popular and beloved artists from the 1980’s Tears For Fears, B-52’s, and Berlin. The average ticket price for Kool Concert 2015 is $81.35 but fans will be able to find tickets for as low as $19. Berlin last released Animal in 2013 and the B-52’s put out Funplex in 2008 so fans can expect to hear more than their 80’s hits. The show is all ages and with doors opening at 4:30 local time.

 

6/9 Catfish and the Bottlemen at Varsity Theatre - Average Ticket Price $9 | Get-in: $5

Welsh indie rock band Catfish and the Bottlemen will be at the Varsity Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota this week on the 9th. The show has a very low average ticket price of $9 and a lowest get-in price of $5. The band released their debut album The Balcony late last year reaching number 9 on the US Alternative Billboard Charts. The band will also stop in Milwaukee on the 10th for a show at the Eagles Club and next week on the 16th will come to New York City for a show at Webster Hall.
