Manchester United Tickets For Next 3 US Matches Are Averaging $187 On Secondary Market

The International Champions Cup in North America is well underway, as it kicked off on July 11. Manchester United, arguably the most successful team in English league football and the most popular football club in the world, look to repeat as ICC champions and are off to a good start to accomplish that feat. Man U defeated its first opponent of the tournament, Club America, 1-0 at CenturyLink Field in Seattle this past Friday.  Three more contests are still to be played this month for Manchester United in this now annual friendly exhibition competition.

According to TicketIQ, tickets for Manchester United’s next three matches in the United States for this tournament have a combined average of $187.30 on the secondary market.  Their most expensive match during this stretch will be on Saturday July 25 for a matchup with FC Barcelona at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.  Tickets for this game have an average price of $255.93 on the secondary market, 36% above the average for the combined average price for tickets for the next three games for Manchester United. The cheapest seat of the game priced at $96.  FC Barcelona is one of the most accomplished clubs in the sport going against one of the more popular teams in Manchester United at one of the newest venues established, which explains why tickets for this game are highly priced.

Manchester United’s next match in the tournament is scheduled Tuesday, July 21 when they face off with the San Jose Earthquakes.  Initially, the game was to be played Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium a venue with a capacity of over 62,000, but now the game has been moved to Avaya Stadium in San Jose which has a capacity of 18,000, a difference of more than 40,000 in capacity.  Tickets for this upcoming matchup are going for an average price of $125.26 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $65.  It’s the least expensive game on Manchester United’s remaining schedule for the tournament according to TicketIQ because of the change in venues and the quality of opponent in San Jose Earthquakes who are now eighth in the Western Conference in the MLS.

In its third ICC Cup match this month, Manchester United will travel to Chicago to play Paris Saint-Germain at Soldier Field on July 29 as tickets for this game are just 13% above the average price for Manchester’s least expensive game against San Jose at $142.21 on the secondary market, with the cheapest seat priced at $54.
