(UPDATE 7/23/15) Hard rock quartet Shinedown recently kicked off a short tour run through the U.S. last week. The Jacksonville, Florida natives are slated to play 13 more shows through August 9, when the tour wraps at Jackson County Fair in Minnesota. The group is touring in support of its upcoming album, which has yet-to-be named though is expected to be released in late-September.
Shinedown tickets are finding a huge demand on the secondary market as the tour carries on. The average secondary price for Shinedown tickets over the band’s remaining shows is $165.91.The Murat Shrine at Old Natonal Centre in Indianapolis will welcome the top-priced show on August 8. With more than 500 tickets still available for resale, the Indy gig currently averages a $183.49 ticket and $53 get-in price.
A slew of other shows are also averaging above $100 on the resale market. On August 1 the band heads to Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Missouri, where tickets average $168.39 and get-in price starts at $25. Shinedown Beacon Theatre tickets for the band’s NYC stop tomorrow night own a $129.13 average and $75 get-in price.
Shinedown will also play a joint show with iconic rock and roll group Lynyrd Skynyrd on August 4. The show will be held at the Buffalo Chip Campground in Sturgis, South Dakota. Nothing More will support at all dates –excluding the Skynyrd show – through August 5 in Sioux City, Iowa.
Shinedown Announce Summer Tour & New Record
Shinedown is hitting the road for a short run of U.S. shows this summer. The band has also announced that its new album will be out later this year.
The tour kicks off on July 14 at the Brady Theater in Tulsa, Oklahoma and will run through August 9, when it wraps at the Jackson County Fair in Michigan. 14 dates in total are currently scheduled over the month-long stretch, though the band is likely to add more dates soon.
Nothing More will support Shinedown at the majority of shows. Members of the Shinedown Nation will have access to a ticket pre-sale beginning Tuesday, April 14. General on sale begins this Friday, April 17 via Ticketmaster.
The upcoming release will be the band’s fifth studio album and will follow 2012’s Amaryllis.
