This week’s top indie and alternative concerts begins with 90s darlings the Gin Blossoms stopping at the Paramount Theatre in Huntington, New York this week on the 10th. Also on July 10th Say Anything will be at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts and newly reunited Veruca Salt will be at Slim’s in San Francisco, California. On the 11th the Summerland Tour which features alternative rock bands Everclear and Fuel head to the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Finally 80’s party band The Molly Ringwalds will play at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas on July 11th.

Alt-rock band the Gin Blossoms will stop at the Paramount Theatre in Huntington, New York this week on the 10th. The show has an average ticket price of $66 but fans can find tickets for as cheap as $36. The band last released No Chocolate Cake in 2010 but are most known for their 1992 album New Miserable Experience. The Summerland Tour will stop at the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne, Indiana this week on the 11th. The average ticket price is $21 and the lowest get-in price is set at $11. This year’s Summerland Tour features alternative-rock bands Everclear, Toadies, Fuel, and American Hi-Fi. Fuel and American Hi-FI put out new albums in 2014 while Everclear released Black is the New Black earlier this year. The tour will head to the Agora Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio on the 12th and the Lonestar Amphitheatre in Lubbock, Texas on the 15th.

The 80’s inspired dance party band will also be at the House of Blues in Houston on the 10th. After that the tour will stop in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on the 24th at the Varsity Theatre and in Biloxi, Mississippi on August 1st at the Golden Nugget.

Alt-rock band Veruca Salt will stop at Slim’s in San Francisco, California this week on the 10th. The show has an average ticket price of $47, very close to the lowest get-in price of $46. The band is back with its original line-up from their 1994 debut American Thighs and have released a new album Ghost Notes this week. Veruca Salt will play in Los Angeles, California on the 11th at the El Rey Theatre and will come to New York City on July 31st for a show at Webster Hall.
