This week’s top shows in metal and rock kicks off with a show by Neil Young and Promise of the Real in Bethel, New York at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Also on the 17th James Taylor will perform at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. On the 18th Kid Rock and Foreigner will stop at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida while Van Halen will play the USANA Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, Utah. Finally on July 19th Steely Dan and Elvis Costello will play the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, Texas.

7/18 Kid Rock & Foreigner at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre Avg. Ticket Price $282.11 Get-in: $45

Kid Rock and Foreigner will stop this week at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre this week on the 18th. The show has an average ticket price of $282.11 though fans will be able to find tickets for as low as $45. Kid Rock released his 10th studio album First Kiss back in February while Foreigner has not released anything since 2009’s Can’t Slow Down. On the 16th, fans in Florida can also catch this tour at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach.

7/18 Van Halen at USANA Amphitheatre Avg. Ticket Price $209.92 Get-in: $40

Van Halen will be at the USANA Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, Utah this week on the 18th. The show has an average ticket price of $209.92 though the lowest get-in price is set at only $40. Blues musician Kenny Wayne Shepherd will open the show. Van Halen last released A Different Kind of Truth in 2012 while Shepherd put out Goin’ Home last year. The band will then head to the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado on the 20th.

7/17 Neil Young & Promise of the Real at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Avg. Ticket Price $205.75 Get-in: $61

Neil Young & Promise of the Real will be at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts this week on the 17th in Bethel, New York (2 hours outside NYC). The show has an average ticket price of $205.75 and a lowest get-in price of $61. Neil Young most recently released The Monsanto Years last month, recorded with backing band Promise of the Real. On the 16th the tour will stop at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey and on the 21st in Wantagh, New York at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater.

7/19 Steely Dan & Elvis Costello at Gexa Energy Pavilion Avg. Ticket Price $186.97 Get-in: $41

This week on the 19th Steely Dan and Elvis Costello will perform at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, Texas. The show has an average ticket price of $186.97 and a lowest get-in price of $41. Steely Dan last released Everything Must Go back in 2003 and Costello put out his last solo album National Ransom in 2010. The pair of musicians will also stop in Texas on the 17th in Austin at 360 and on the 18th in Woodlands in Houston.

7/17 James Taylor at Riverbend Music Center Avg. Ticket Price $161.87 Get-in: $41

James Taylor will be at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio this week on the 17th. The show has an average ticket price of $161.87 and though fans will be able to find a tickets for as low as $41. The singer released Before This World last month reaching number 1 on the Billboard Charts, a surprising first for the prolific singer. Fans in New York City will be able to see James Taylor in NYC on August 4th at the Forest Hills Stadium in Queens.
