League of Legends Championship Series Comes to Madison Square Garden this Weekend

Prepare your best team of champions, summoners – League of Legends is invading Madison Square Garden for its Championship Series this weekend. The two-day affair will host the country’s best LoL gamers and determine the split’s champion by its conclusion Sunday. The winning team earns their spot in the 2015 World Championship later this year, and ticket demand exists on the secondary market to attend the festivities in the Big Apple this weekend.

According to TicketIQ, the average secondary price for League of Legends tickets over its two-day stay at MSG is $126.24.Saturday will be the cheaper day, with tickets currently averaging $87.86 and get-in price starting at $34. Sunday will declare the split’s champion, and Sunday League of Legends tickets average $268.11 and get-in price is $126.

Team Liquid will face Team Impulse beginning at 6 p.m. in the third-place best-of-five series Saturday. The following day, Team Solomid takes on Counter Logic Gaming in the best-of-five Finals starting at 4 p.m.
