Meghan Trainor Cancels Remaing ‘MTrain’ Tour Dates After Suffering Vocal Hemorrhage

August 11, 2015

(UPDATE 8/11/15) Meghan Trainor’s MTrain Tour has come to a screeching halt. The 21-year-old singer was slated to play 13 more shows through next month before announcing on Tuesday that she will undergo emergency surgery to repair a vocal hemorrhage. It is the second time the “Lips Are Movin” singer has suffered from the ailment, prompting her to correct it with surgery before three-peating in the future.

“To all my fans – I was being careful and taking precautions, but I have hemorrhaged my vocal cord again”, Trainor said in an Instagram post Tuesday. “I got bronchitis & have been coughing a lot & that pushed it over the edge. Sadly, I will need to cancel the remainder of my tour and get surgery to finally fix this once and for all.”

There is no word on if Trainor will reschedule the cancelled dates. She was forced to cancel three shows in Atlantic City, New Jersey and New York in early-July after suffering her first vocal hemorrhage.
