Underoath fans, rejoice – the post-hardcore outfit is returning after a two-year absence beginning in 2016. On Tuesday the band announced a full-fledged reunion tour, being dubbed the “Rebirth” Tour, set to invade North American between March and April of next year. Each tour date will see the sextet play their seminal albums They’re Only Chasing Safety and Define the Great Line in full.
The tour kicks off on March 16 at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida. 31 dates are scheduled over the six-week affair, including festival stops at the 2016 Self Help Festival in San Bernardino and South By So What in Dallas. It will culminate on April 23 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta.
Pre-sale tickets were made available following the tour announcement Tuesdaymorning. The general public will have access to tickets beginning on August 28 at 10 am. No supporting guests have been announced yet, but expect some of the genre’s biggest acts to round out the bill when the time comes.
